Hopping on the Atlantic Road in Norway

If you prefer to avoid the southern coastal stretches of Europe in the summer heat, Norway is the place for you. One of the most popular coastal places in Europe is located on the west coast: the Atlantic Road. Although it is only 8 km long, it consists of a total of eight very beautiful bridges that take you over the Atlantic coastal waters. Probably the biggest highlight on the way from Molde through the fishing villages is the curved Storseisundet Bridge. Because if you look at it from a certain perspective it disappears into nothingness.

In addition, the narrow coastal road, which is located in the rock, goes 100 m vertically into the water. That’s why it’s important to keep your ears open to see if the horn of an oncoming bus warns you.
