Italian is not only spoken in Italy, but also partly in Switzerland and 25 other countries. Almost 130 million people worldwide speak Italian. The grammar is similar to other Latin based languages, but there are fewer verb forms than in French or Spanish.
At the end, no language is easier or more difficult than the other.
