There have been a few horror highlights over the past few years. We can look forward to more upcoming movies from the same genre in the future. Because some start dates for interesting horror lovers have already been set for this year. From already known titles to completely new candidates, pretty much everything is included. We’ll tell you what to expect on the horror movies this year.
We have picked out the most exciting highlights for you for the coming year. Please note, however: Theatres are currently closed until further notice. How things go after that depends on how the currently ongoing pandemic develops.
Attention Horror Fans
This year there are some movies that should give you goosebumps again. If you have weak nerves, you should look elsewhere. Because these movies bring all possible forms of horror to the screens. Some of them are sequels of well-known series. From The Book Of Saw is advancing the Saw franchise and is scheduled to launch in July 2021. A Quiet Place 2 will continue the story of Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and M. Simmonds. The project will be released in July 2021.
The next one is called The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Ed and Lorraine will again test dark, diabolical forces. This is arguably the next much-anticipated title for The Conjuring. Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too long either. Because The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It should start in summer 2021 according to the current status. But there are also some brand new and previously unknown titles in the calendar this year.
A Quiet Place 2
There’s something to know: The horror sequel to the first hit from 2018 revolves around Evelyn Abbot (E. Blunt) and her two children Reagan (M.Simmonds) and Marcus (N. Jupe). Not much is revealed about the plot yet. But this time there is definitely more to see from the outside world.
After the earth was plagued by mysterious aliens who were lured by sounds, much of humanity fell victim to the cruel intruders. In the first movie, a family was desperate for protection from the creatures. Now they have to adapt to their new situation.
